From team coaching to facilitation to personal assessments, I offer a range of services that improve the effectiveness of individuals, teams, and the organization.

ServicesTeam Coaching

This is a customized process that is tailored to meet the needs of each team.

Our goal is to identify and remove barriers to performance by improving collaboration, setting goals, clarifying expectations, resolving personality issues, and getting everyone to pull in the same direction. The result is a happier and more productive team.

Sometimes it’s necessary for leadership teams to get away to evaluate the organization’s progress, to identify areas that shine and areas that need polishing, and to establish goals and action plans for the future.  In some cases relationships between members may need a “tune up.”  Each retreat is carefully customized for each group’s unique needs and desired outcomes.

Coaching is a relatively new tool that is fast becoming mainstream in companies.  It is a creative process that inspires the client to maximize their personal and professional potential.  Coaches help people improve their performances and enhance the quality of their lives.  They are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs.

Myers Briggs Type Indicator

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is the most widely used personal development instrument in America.  The most popular applications include teambuilding, conflict resolution, improving relationships, and personal insight.

It is often administered to work groups to help them better understand their team’s strengths and development needs.  It is also used with individuals to give them personal insight.  A typical session is about 4 hours.

I am qualified by the Association for Psychological Type to administer the MBTI.

The Leadership Practices Inventory

Over three million people have used The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) as a first step to reaching their personal leadership best.  With the right feedback and tools, anyone can learn to be an effective leader through self-discovery and increased self-awareness.

The LPI is a 360 degree questionnaire that takes 10 to 20 minutes to complete. The leader along with five to ten others (chosen by the leader) complete the inventory.  The leaders is rated on the frequency they engage in 30 leadership behaviors.  A report is created that helps the leader understand their strengths and their development needs.

Professional facilitators are normally used for meetings such board retreats, idea generation sessions, strategic planning meetings, problem-solving meetings, and teambuilding. A professional facilitator can also help your group get “unstuck,” to identify and focus on key issues, and to make decisions and move forward. Perhaps the number one reason people hire professional facilitators is the objectivity and “distance” they bring.
