Building upon the six-step process from Leadership Essentials 1, this one-day workshop examines the crucial first two steps in more detail: how to set expectations and how to coach for improved performance.
Sometimes managers experience performance issues because people are not clear what is expected of them. They often mistakenly assume their employees know what is expected of them. But if you were to ask the employees, many would say they are not sure.Recent studies show up to 74% of performance problems would go away if employees knew exactly was expected of them and if they received regular performance feedback. Sadly, most employees assume they are doing well if they don't receive any feedback. Consider this, how often do you receive feedback on your performance?
